Ionic Foot Bath Detox Spa Buyers Guide
The workhorse of any wise detoxor is the ionic foot bath detox spa. I makes sense then that this should be the most researched investment the savvy detoxor makes. The 10 critical points to ponder are these:
Where is the detox spa made? It should be made in the US . We want to have someone in the US to work with and handle warranty issues. Be careful. Some companies will claim the product is made in the US when it is just assembled in the US from parts from China, Hong Kong, etc.
Does the seller and/or the manufacturer have a phone? If they do not, how will you get service when you need it?
Does the seller and/or the manufacturer answer the phone? If they do not, will they when you have a warranty issue or just have an important question?
Does the detox spa have a warranty? David recommends at least 2 years.
Is there a money back guarantee in case the detox spa is not something for you. The detox spa will not help everyone. There are some people too sick or too skeptical to use one. There are also some people who are convinced by their skeptical neighbors and neighbors that the detox spa does not work.
How long does the array/water module last? It should last at least 60 sessions. This is a real cost of ownership issue. Differences Between Detox Spa Designs
There are many different detox spa makes and models. They all are trying to show why there particular model is better or why it is worth the extra money over a competitor. We will break them down into basically three groups:
Simple Machines - non digital interface
Computerized interface - non frequency technology
Computerized interface with frequency technology
Simple Machines/Units - These are the low end machines although their price may not be low end. Some units have no session intensity measuring/reporting device such as a needle meter or LED intensity display. These units should be avoided as you have not way to know how strong your session is and thus no way to adjust your sessions. Other simple units have a needle meter . These are fine as long as the power supply is regulated and UL Listed . A brick power supply like those that laptops use are the best of this type of external power supply. Some systems are no more than electrical bench power supplies with simple arrays. These workbench power supplies vary greatly in quality. The most common sold are bench power supplies from overseas. It is recommended you work with an established company, not someone matching bench power supplies to handmade arrays in their garage.
Computerized interface - A good solution. You get your best bang for the buck here. The computerized interface makes life easier with detox sessions as these units prompt you for how much salt to add. They can perform an automatic staged detox session. They can also have metering functions for the professional clinic to loan out to their patrons, then bill them by the hour of actual use. These units often show well no matter what your clientele. Some nice looking units are to be found for a great price.
These units do not have the more complicated frequency technology. Frequency technology like that found with the Miracle Foot Massager is best applied directly to the feet through the reflexology point not through water.
